The big game is on
The big day is here and everything and everyone is buzzing in the Logan's household in white house. Well, everyone except for Clancy, even Devon was up and about though they were together all day long and went to bed at about the same time.
Clancy had no appetite either, they were practically begging him to eat something. It's going to be a long day Mrs. Logan remind him, and though you might not feel it now, you are going to get really hungry really fast.
That must have worked because Clancy manage to down three of Mrs. Logan's fried dumping with her world famous Ackee & salt fish (salted codfish).
The actions starts before Clancy could finish his breakfast, Mrs. Logan read the to-do list which includes picking up several items in Linstead, Rose Hall and go get the page boy in Bog Walk.
The party of men (Groom's Men) are being housed at the Logan’s, Clancy had no idea where the girls are but isn't concerned about that now.
The house appeared to be bursting at the seams, Debbie's brothers and a cousin from London came in on Thursday and are staying there in white house, and now Nicholas the page boy has just joined the company making the place a perfect bullpen, other than for Mrs. Logan, there were all guys in the house.
Clancy was pleased to learn that Debbie's sister and sister in law was staying with his mom.
Before leaving to go back to Linstead for more pickup of items, Devon warned the guys to go shower and be done with the bathrooms before they get back, the only people that should be using bathrooms at that point when they get back is Clancy and himself.
Clancy had settled on having Devon and his dad Mr. Logan pitch in and play the role of chauffeur for the boys but was pleasantly surprised when his dad showed up at the house all dressed up and announced that he is chauffeuring the groom's men, everything is falling into place he thought to himself.
For what is supposed to be a "small family" gathering, this wedding is turning out to be a grand splash as Clancy now sees it. Him being an only son to his mother, and has only been in any kind of a relationship with 2 of his "supposedly" many siblings, Clancy's idea of a family event would be somewhere in the region of ten, twenty at most but so far he has numbered well over 25 and they have not yet arrived at all the venues where folks are supposed to be, there might still be much more folks coming.
That's all Folks, thanks for joining us today and the entire week. Have a fabulous weekend and join us again next week for more.
