On to other happenings as we continue with 76, Clancy’s story. Today’s episode 013 sees Clancy reasoning things out with his mother, and other things.
Here it is; Episode 013
He was waiting for her response but quickly realizing that it won't be forthcoming he continued... I know I know I shouldn't mix business with pleasure that's what you are thinking but it's not like that.
Before all of this, "business" part, I was in love with her.
It was a long and winding road which leads me to acknowledging it but that's where we are now and going forward into bigger things.
The silence which followed was broken with the words "we are going to get married mom.
And I... we are looking forward to your blessings and participation. Make it quick though, we haven't got much time. The wedding is in five weeks.
Five weeks? Am I going deaf are did I hear you correctly, you must be crazy as hell.
Calm down mom, calm down.
Don't you be telling me to calm down, you are the one who needs to calm down... way down, you are moving way too fast for me but more so for yourself, who in the entire world plan a wedding and get married in five weeks?
What is this and why the mad rush? Mom there's no need to panic and who said anything about planning a wedding? You should calm down, sorry… take a deep breath, relax and hear me out on this that's all I asked.
I didn't come to fight with you. So here's the deal, Debbie and I are going to have a baby soon, but before that, we want to be married. Hence the urgency.

Debbie and I... and her mother is taking care of everything, and no, that's not a slight of any sort on you it's just the way it's done in their family, the bride's family takes care of the wedding, the groom's family is responsible for housing... where they are going to live after.
Ms. Johnson gasped, and where are you going to put her... and baby?
I'm coming to that mom and that's the good part,
waiting for the big declaration this has got to be good she thought to herself.
I'm buying a house mom, it's all good and settled. I just bought a house in run-away Bay.
Where you get money from to buy house she asked softly?
Glad you asked mom, that's what I've been trying to tell you all along, it's working Mom all of this which seems so foolish to many... to you, it's working out alright, I'm paid pretty well for what I do and I want you to stop worrying so much and instead enjoy this with me.
I want to treat you like the Queen which you are, will you let me? Will you? he asked again with steadfast Ernest desire seeping through the barrier which his mother was building between them.
I need to think said Ms. Johnson as she raised herself up from the table with such effort as if she had taken on 30 years to her age in the mere minutes that they had been sitting there, she looked tired and listless and Clancy's heart ache within him, he wanted so much to make her happy, to see her smile, to hear her laughing those big, haughty unmistakable laughs which only Ms. Johnson had been known for, but…
