It’s early days of summer and things are really beginning to heat up around these parts and that’s in much more ways than one, Clancy has just made his debut as a performer and was more than satisfied with how that turned out. ...After what seemed like a dog’s year without so much as a breath in the form of a response, Clancy looked up from the table top where his eyes have been focused ever since he returned from the stint at the mic.
Debbie's sharp eyes was piercing through Clancy's as if straight into his soul while she chewed on the tip of the plastic straw, slowly spinning it around with her fingers. She did not answer a word.

Debbie collected her belongings; well, her handbag and scarf which was sitting on the bench behind her but right in front of Clancy who was keeping a watchful eye on it along with the other belongings they had placed there; Clancy's sports bag and Devon's neat "murse" that's what Devon call it, everyone else call it a man purse.
It was Devon's first time driving his dad's Ford cartina by himself as he had just received his permits a week ago, five days in fact.
He was being very careful with the car, too careful maybe. In backing out of the parking lot of the club, he touched the bumper of couch's Mazda pick-up just a little nip, neither of the two in the back seat even noticed.
Most youngsters Devon's age would probably just continue on their way but not Devon, he is the responsible sort, which is probably why his dad would not hesitate to let him have the car.
He went out to check out the damage, leaving the driver side door open as he went. The others stayed put, Clancy rolled the window down and was looking as Devon ran his forefinger over the spot on the car's left bumper.
He hesitated just a moment to look back (maybe) at the amount of space he has betwixt the two vehicles to maneuver before settling in the driver's seat and closing the door.
As the car moved out of the parking lot Clancy stuck his head out of the window and looked back, maybe at the pick-up truck, maybe at the club. Debbie in a quick analysis, summarize that it was the club, the place where he'd just debuted as an Entertainer/singer/performer.
What ever happened hereafter for the Clancy/76 entertainment brand, this will go down in history as the time and place where it all started.
While he was yet looking back with his head out the window, Debbie said in a low tone of voice; what took you so long? Clancy pulled his head back inside the car, looked across at Debbie who was now looking out of the window on her side of the car so that Clancy was not able to see her eyes or her full face.
He looked up at the rear view mirror in the center top of the windshield and caught Devon's eyes looking back at him before turning to look on either side of the vehicle via the rear view mirrors as if nothing matter but observing the proper driving instructions he learned in driving school.
Devon was the first to speak when they were well on their way towards Ewarton.
You were awesome tonight dude, you absolutely nailed it. Yes 6, you killed it. Debbie said while planting a soft but firm hand on Clancy's thigh just above the knee. 6? What team have you been cheering for? Nobody call me 6, at least not any more.
What you mean "not anymore? Debbie inquired. Well that's what some folks used to call me until it starts causing confusion between me and Richie Reid, he plays for CC; that's Clarendon college Clancy hasten to say before Debbie; protesting assured him that she knew what CC signifies; I'm not so dumb you know.
That was not what I was implying, I just wasn't sure if you knew seeing you are not... not what? Debbie chimed in accusingly
