Clancy’s next destination and the last on this trip is to his father's house in Rose Hall just outside Linstead, come with us as we zero in on this and other happenings.
Before leaving, (his mother's house) Clancy handed her a cassette tape, listen this when you get a chance he said, he hugged her and kissed her on the forehead, and then he was gone.
On his way to his next destination, Clancy tried to decipher the events of the day in his mind. Yes it has been a rough year since Clancy and the group has been doing the hotel circuit from Ocho Rios through Mo-bay all the way to Negril.
All being ably managed by Debbie via her company; High Climb Entertainment Inc. She has impressed a lot of folks but none more so than Clancy, she was quick to remind him though that there is no magic to it just logics, hard work and the right education, which she was fortunate to have acquired in England.
Clancy did not tell his mother where he was going next, after the talk with her, he has one more stop and one more person to talk to on this matter.
Clancy had a good working relationship with his father although they had never lived together, Mr. O'Connor lives in Rose Hall just outside of Linstead with his wife and 2 grown daughters with whom Clancy also get along very well, he may have found such favor with that part of the family because he's a boy and only son born to his dad.
Mr. O'Connor have a reputation around these parts as some sort of a ladies man and has been said to have fathered no less than 5 other children all daughters for a grand total of 8. Of course he only admitted to fathering three (3).
Mr. O'Connor was not home when Clancy got there, the girls, both in their 20s still lives at home with their parents. Clancy had just turned 20 and is about to be married though they don't know it yet.
Ma look who is here Victoria yelled through the huge living room, the sound carried on a slight echo noticeable only by the most discerning of ears such as those with which Clancy had been blessed.
Helen came even though Vickie's call was directed at her mother and not her, just the bare mention of his name was always enough to cause the excitement level to spike in his sisters.
Mrs. O'Connor came through the living room towards them still there bubbling and bouncing around just inside the front door as the siblings hugged and giggle, Clancy lift each girls off their feet spinning them around.
The stint on the north coast has taken him away from most of his longtime friends and family so it was well within reason for his sisters to be a bit more exuberant to see him this time.
That's all for today folks, come join us again tomorrow for episode 015 in the series. In the meantime though, share this with a friend, tell them to join us on this odyssey call; 76, Clancy's journey. Remember to leave your comments and questions in the space provided below and we will do our best to get back to you promptly.
