As both vehicles got closer, the police car came around a slight bend in the road, Donald could clearly see the outline of the policeman’s upper body, the hat and sunshades glasses he was wearing all ably aided by the afternoon sun. Donald slowed down and pull over to the shoulders to allow for easier access to pass then pull back onto the road and continued. Shortly after Donald noticed via the rearview mirror that the police car had turned around and was now following him lights still going.
Again he slowed and moved over to allow the car to go by but then the police car pulled up behind him and slowed. Are you kidding me! Donald exclaimed. While stopping. The officer came up to him and said; do you know how fast you were going sir? Yes said Donald, 50 KPH give or take a few and that was before I slowed down and almost stopped to let you go by. Not quite the policeman said and asked for his papers then went back to his car with them. Meanwhile Donald rehearsed in his mind what could have triggered these chain of events. It was not like the police was hiding behind some bush with a speed gun pointed at the oncoming vehicle to capture the speed at which he was traveling no, both vehicles were moving in opposite direction and not even in a perfectly straight line. The road is slightly winding with several slight bumps and descents for several meters of roadways, so what kind of a magical device, strategies or techniques does this officer have that he could detect and capture someone speeding in these conditions and circumstances even if I was in fact speeding, and I was not. Could it be, could it possibly be that someone made a call? And if so who could that someone be and why? Hmmm. Donald continued telling the court that the cop came back with a ticket and how he’d told him that he would see him in court (which by the way never happen, as the cop wasn’t in court for the hearing). In continuing further, Donald referred to the information written on the ticket, some of which states that; there were three people on the bus (not passengers, people). In fact there were 5 people including the driver. And Donald has and brought his list of passengers which includes their name and addresses with him to court and proceed to pass these papers along for the court to inspect. The prosecutor now holding these in hand and reviewing them, the judge asked what are those, and what is it about, on being given the answer said we don’t need those it has no bearing on the case. Right away Donald knew that this too is not his day. He couldn’t help but recall the look he got from the judge at the point where he’d said; when he noticed the police car pulling up behind him with flashing lights he’d exclaimed; are you kidding me. Now he know for sure that the unthinkable has happened; a biased cop with tainted motifs has met and joined forces with a biased and motif tainted judge to decide his fate, not going to end well for him. Not that he has to win for it to end well, but justice should not only be done but should manifestly and undoubtedly be seen to be done he said within himself today though, it’s not so
Donald knew that the is important in making the case that; apart from those questionable circumstances surrounding a ticket a cop issues to a motorist all stated in the first person (I, me etc.) when in fact common sense and logics does not support that when both the police car and the other vehicle was seen traveling in opposite direction for miles on a long stretch of roadways before they meet up at the point (somewhat) where the ticket was issued. Could the officer have made a mistake? Those particulars which the judge dismissed as been “irrelevant” should have and would have shown that; in this very encounter with this individual, he did at the very least exercised questionable judgement. But Donald not being or having a lawyer, was not in a position to argue with the big man in his house who was the on sitting in the royal seat.
