Clancy is now on the spot, adrenaline seeping through his entire being he can choke up or he can use it to fuel the fire within what will Clancy do? Let’s see here in episode 011 of Clancy’s journey
Clancy took the microphone and got right into his first song, which went over very well, then before getting into the next song, he told the story of how he got beat by an old lady, sorry an elderly woman.
This was designed to appease Debbie who was about to shoot him dead with that look she gave him. He then dedicate the song to his new best friend Mrs. Myrtle.
The last song was; yes, you guessed it. If I have the world. The response left no doubt in his mind that it was good, really good.
For the next few weeks that followed, Clancy compiled a list of 10 song which he sees as materials he could work with to fill a slot without falling into staleness or boredom.
It's just about five weeks remaining before school will be out for the summer and Clancy is looking forward to that for more reasons than one.
A week from this Saturday, he is going to Ocho Rios to audition for a slot on Saturday or Sunday nights at San Souci hotel, he hasn't yet decided which of the two nights would suit him better should he land the deal.
For the moment though, he has secured a spot on Friday nights along with an option for Sunday nights at Club Jamaica, he just needs to say the word. Debbie is the driving force behind all the happenings in this arena.
Devon is not to be left out of the reckoning either, he's been the backbone of their success, he's a friend, chauffeur, bodyguard and all round right hand man for this unit.
